Terms of service and refunds

Career Booster is a trade name of Mehdi Ganjkhani, based in Washington State, USA (“we”, “us”). These terms apply when you use thecareerbooster.com or request any of our services. By sending a request or paying, you agree to them. Questions? Email support@thecareerbooster.com.

Refunds at a glance

• LinkedIn Profile Boost, LinkedIn Profile Setup and CV / Resume Preparation: a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of paying and before we deliver your first version. After that, or once a version is delivered, there's no refund: instead, you get up to 5 rounds of revisions to get it right.
• 1:1 Career Call: cancel at least 48 hours before your call for a full refund. Later than that, or if you don't join the call, there's no refund. If we have to cancel or miss the call, you choose: a new time or a full refund.
• LinkedIn Growth Plan: a monthly plan can be cancelled any time; it stops renewing and you keep the month you paid for. A 3-month plan is paid up front at 20% off and runs to its end, with no refund for unused months.
• If we're late: if we deliver more than 3 business days after the time promised on the service page, you can ask for a full refund instead of waiting.
• Free LinkedIn Assessment: it's free, so there's nothing to refund.

To ask for a refund, write to us on your request page or email support@thecareerbooster.com from the address you used, with your reference (R-…). Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 business days.

Our services

Each service page describes what's included, the price and the delivery time: the Free LinkedIn Assessment, the LinkedIn Profile Boost, the LinkedIn Profile Setup, CV / Resume Preparation, the 1:1 Career Call and the LinkedIn Growth Plan. Delivery times are counted in business days (Monday to Friday, US holidays excluded) from when we have your payment and what we need from you. If we ask you a question, the clock pauses until you answer.

Your account

To request any of our services, the free assessment included, you need a free account (sign up with Google, Apple or your email). Your requests, reports and messages are kept there, and the name and LinkedIn link you give us are saved so our forms fill them in next time; you can change them in your account any time. Keep your sign-in to yourself: anyone who signs in to your account can see your requests.

How we work, and our use of AI

• We use AI tools (Anthropic's Claude and Google's Gemini) to prepare our work. The free assessment report is written by AI, using our experts' scoring method, and is sent without a person's check unless our automatic checks flag it. Everything you pay for is checked and approved by a person on our team before you receive it.
• The chat on our website is an AI assistant. It can make mistakes; what's written on our service pages and in these terms is what counts.
• We never ask for your LinkedIn password, and we never post or change anything on your accounts. You decide what to use, and you copy it in yourself.

Payments

Prices are in US dollars and shown on each service page. You pay by card through Stripe's secure checkout; we never see your card number. Taxes, if any apply, are shown at checkout. The early Profile Boost price ($99 instead of $149) applies when you order within 7 days of your free assessment report, with the same email address. A monthly Growth Plan renews automatically each month until you cancel.

Revisions and approval

For the Profile Boost, the Profile Setup and the CV, you get the first version plus up to 5 rounds of changes. You approve the version you're happy with on your request page. If you don't answer for 14 days after a version is delivered, that version becomes final. Changes are about the content we agreed on (your target roles and your experience); a completely new direction, such as different target roles after delivery, counts as a new order.

What you agree to

• You're 18 or older, and the information and files you send are yours and true to the best of your knowledge. We build your profile, CV and posts from them, and we don't check your employers, dates or results.
• You won't send anything you don't have the right to share, or anything unlawful.
• You're responsible for what you publish on LinkedIn or send to employers. Please read everything before you use it.

No guaranteed results

We work to make your profile, CV and posts as strong as we can, but we can't promise a job, interviews, recruiter messages, a score or any other result. Hiring decisions and LinkedIn's systems are outside our control.

What's yours

Once you've paid, the profile text, CV, plans and posts we write for you are yours to use, change and share however you like. Our website, our brand and our methods (including how we score profiles) stay ours.

Our responsibility

We provide our services with care, but as they are. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses (such as a missed job opportunity), and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the service in question.

Ending a service

We may decline or stop a request, for example if the material is misleading, abusive or unlawful, or if we can't deliver what you asked for. If we stop before delivering, you get a full refund.

Privacy

How we handle your information is explained in our privacy policy.

Disagreements

If something goes wrong, please email us first: most things can be fixed quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, USA, and any dispute goes to the courts of King County, Washington, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the terms in force when you paid apply to that order.
